Vlad Muresan is a Romanian film director, producer and screenwriter known for his grounded, experimental and dreamlike narratives. His work is inspired deeply by personal stories and captures themes such as mental health, childhood and the journey of transformation, showing the beauty and simplicity in everyday human interaction.
Vlad has garnered acclaim for work in both the independent and commercial world. Cigarettes (2022), his debut narrative short, has been selected for Lift-Off Global Network. Most recently, he has been focusing on pushing boundaries and working more on film format. Cabaret (2024), is currently in post-production and he is developing his first live-action short film, I Liker Her Too (2025).
Continuing to make a change and inspire others, Vlad founded Naratwist - an independent production company where filmmakers and creatives can bring their ideas to life.
